Sand casting is an advanced technological process that begins with the making of sand moulds, often equipped with casting cores to enable complex internal geometries.
The mould is then flooded with liquid metal with strictly defined parameters. Once the material has solidified and the mould has broken, the component is removed and subjected to further finishing operations to achieve the required shape, accuracy and surface quality.
